Kristian Vigenin welcomes the political stability and reform process in Moldova

Within the meeting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly Euronest, held on 16th and 17th November in Chisinau, the MEP from the Progressive Alliance of Socialists & Democrats  in the European Parliament and co-chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly - Kristian Vigenin, held meetings with the President of the Republic of Moldova Nicolae Timofti and Speaker of the Parliament Marian Lupu. 

During the talks, he welcomed the political stability in the country and the efforts of Moldova towards convergence with the EU, expressing hope that the negotiations on the Association Agreement and the Visa liberalization agreement with the EU might be completed before the summit of the countries of the Eastern Partnership in Vilnius at the end of 2013. 
 
Vigenin encouraged the undertaken reforms in the judiciary and said that they are a key issue not only for the Eastern Partnership countries, but also for many of the new member states. 

In the programme of the Bulgarian MEP is included a meeting with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Moldova. Among the invitees are representatives of civil society organizations and local administration.
