Vigenin meets young leaders from Southeastern Europe and Black Sea region

The Bulgarian MEP and Secretary for Foreign Affairs of BSP Kristian Vigenin held a meeting with participants in the International Program of BSP for young leaders from Southeastern Europe and Black Sea region. The International program, which was initiated by Vigenin, is held for the fifth time for the period from 30 September to 6 October.


The aim of the programme is to enable young people to be acquainted with the Bulgarian political life, the functioning of institutions at national and local levels, and the Bulgarian experience in the membership of Bulgaria in the European Union. Among the guests were representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Romania, Serbia, Moldova, Albania, Macedonia, Croatia and the hosts from Bulgaria. 

Kristian Vigenin welcomed the participants in the programme and expressed the importance as a foundation, which gives them experience and knowledge in their present and future as young leaders in their countries and Europe.
 
The president of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly discussed the future of the Eastern Partnership with the young leaders. According to him it is necessary to have more cooperation within the region. As a country that best covers the expectations of the Euronest, Vigenin indicated Ukraine, although the case with Tymoshenko casts some doubts on Kiev. Vigenin did a careful review of Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
